Abubakar Abdullahi, FCNA, FCISM, FWAIA, ACTI, ACCrFA, is a distinguished Certified National Accountant, financial analyst, strategic turnaround leader, and dedicated public servant renowned for excellence. A staunch advocate of good governance and accountability, he is also a philanthropist who has impacted countless lives, supporting families and youth across Kaduna State. His life reflects a commitment to educational excellence, humility, honesty, and empowering future generations—qualities that earned him the role of Auditor General of Kaduna State.
Born on 24th November 1972 in Kaura, Zaria, he attended Kaura L.E.A Primary School, Alhuda-Huda College, and later Kaduna State Polytechnic (ND, Financial Studies). He began his career in 1995 as an Audit Assistant in the Office of the State Auditor General, Kaduna, while furthering his education with an HND in Accountancy and a Master’s in Banking & Finance (ABU).
A seasoned professional, Abubakar served as a part-time lecturer at Kaduna State Staff Training Center and a resource person at various forums. He holds prestigious fellowships, including:

Appointed Auditor General in 2022, he previously worked as a licensed Financial Practitioner and consultant. His leadership acumen was honed at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), where he was President of SLEAPM Course 11 and a member of Advanced Strategic Leadership Course 4. He has chaired committees and presented papers at numerous trainings, seminars, and workshops.
